Chemical Peel Services at Bespoke Surgical

A chemical peel is a procedure that utilizes a solution of actives (mainly acids) to create a controlled injury to the outermost layers of the skin. The body removes the damaged skin via “peeling,” and the new skin that is revealed underneath has improved texture, less acne/blemishes, and more even pigment. Depending on the concern being targeted, as well as the area being treated, multiple sessions may be required for optimal results.

Peels for Body & Butt Acne

Butt skincare is a real thing — many people struggle with acne on their buttocks and other areas of their bodies. Acne is a multifactorial issue that can stem from triggers such as waxing, shaving, and chemical hair removal methods, but of course also includes hormones, body chemistry, diet, and hygiene as contributing factors.

At Bespoke Surgical, we utilize medical-grade chemical peels to target body and butt acne. Our chemical peels contain salicylic acid, lactic acid, and TCA at concentrations that can only be administered by a licensed medical professional. Depending on the degree of body acne present, multiple treatments may be required.

Peels for Butt & Body Scarring

Scarring, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture are common aesthetic problems many people have on their butt and other areas of the body. It can stem from previous issues with acne, folliculitis, and other skin disorders, or it can stem from the result of surgery or injury (cuts from shaving are common).

As with acne, we leverage chemical peels to target butt and body scarring, hyperpigmentation, and texture issues. Again, these medical-grade peels can only be administered by a medical professional and may require multiple treatments depending on the degree of body scarring, hyperpigmentation, and/or texture present.

Chemical Peel Consultation – FREE
When you arrive for your free chemical peel consultation, our licensed Aesthetician will provide you with your pre- and post-treatment details to prepare you for your chemical peel sessions. This consultation is a chance to express your questions, concerns, and treatment goals so that our licensed Aesthetician can personalize the treatment to your condition, goals, and preferences.

Chemical Peel Level 1 or 2 – $350
This price includes one vial of our medical-grade peel Level 1 or Level 2. Both peels contain salicylic acid, lactic acid, and TCA, but at different variations. The level will be determined by our licensed Aesthetician during your consultation. Depending on the size of the area treated, more than one vial may be required at each session. Patients save $50 per vial when purchasing multiple vials. If a patient knows they will need multiple treatments, they can prepay for multiple vials to save $50 on each one.

Treatment sessions are about 30 minutes in-office. Patients can expect mild discomfort when the peel is administered, but this sensation resolves in a few minutes. Most patients are required to leave the peel on for about four to six hours, but your exact protocol will be customized by our licensed Aesthetician. You may be prescribed a cream to utilize before, during, and in the two weeks after your treatments to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and to further improve the results from your visits with us.

Chemical Peel Level 3 – $750
This price includes a peel designed to target hyperpigmentation with active ingredients, such as hydroquinone, salicylic acid, kojic acid, and lactic acid. The peel is applied in the office, and the patient remains in office for one hour to allow this peel to dry, as it is a viscous consistency. Depending on the area treated and the extent of the issue of concern, the peel can be left on anywhere from 8 to 10 hours, as determined by our licensed Aesthetician. This peel has no initial discomfort, but patients may feel mild discomfort when the peel is removed. Post-treatment creams are provided for optimal results.

Microneedling Services at Bespoke Surgical

Microneedling involves utilizing a medical-grade tip containing dozens of needles that are glided along the skin at a precise depth to create controlled micro-injuries that both promote collagen induction and help to remodel existing collagen. Microneedling helps to soften fine lines, scars, and can help with pigmentation issues to create a luminous glow.

Multiple sessions are required when targeting a specific concern. Patients are numbed in advance to ease the treatment. Only medical-grade disposable tips are used and are attached to a professional device that allows the tips to make clean, vertical micro-injuries. Other forms of microneedling, such as rollers, put the patient at risk for scarring, infection, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and are not recommended.

Microneedling for Body & Butt Scarring

Since microneedling creates micro-injuries that remodel and induce collagen production, it’s an ideal treatment for scars of various origins, such as surgery, acne, or injuries. Patients are numbed in advance of the procedure for comfort, but mild discomfort should still be expected. The feeling is often described as being similar to getting a tattoo, though less painful because of the numbing. Patients should expect mild bleeding, as the multi-needle tip is repeatedly glided along and stamped into the skin to create precise, clean micro-injuries.

Over the following week, patients may experience peeling at the treated site. This is a normal aspect of the healing process. Over the following weeks, post-treatment patients will notice an improvement in the appearance of scar texture, pigment, and overall appearance. It will likely take multiple sessions spaced four to six weeks apart for optimal results.
