Follow-up care/ preparation instructions:
Prior to Botox appointment:
Arrive with a clean face, avoid alcohol/blood thinning agents for 48 hours, avoid scheduling immediately before important events, and inform the provider if pregnant/breastfeeding, taking antibiotics, or if you have had prior reactions to neurotoxins. No vaccines 2 weeks prior to appointment.
Post-Botox appointment:
No exercise, no alcohol for 24 hours, and avoid aggressive skincare for 48 hours; no bending over or lying flat for 4 hours; avoid steam rooms, saunas, and jacuzzi for 48 hours, and no facials, gua shua, or massages for 2 weeks.
2 weeks for full effects of neurotoxin, 4u gratis “dose adjustment” in treated areas as needed, as determined by medical provider at time of “dose adjustment”
FDA guideline dosing is 64u for upper face – underdosing may require more frequent botox sessions to maintain results
