Anal fingering refers to the process of inserting a finger or multiple fingers into the anus, either by a partner or for self-pleasure. Anal fingering does not involve the whole hand, as that would be described as anal fisting. Fingering is generally a good starting point for those wanting to try out anal play but are not ready for full penetration with a penis or larger toy.

Anal fisting, not to be confused with vaginal fisting, is when one person inserts their entire hand into the anus of another. Though called “fisting,” the hand isn’t always positioned into a fist, although this can be achieved gradually. What’s commonly referred to as fisting can actually be an extension of the fingers into the anus up to or almost to the wrist. Think of the positioning as your four fingers leaning over to meet the pad of your thumb, creating a kind of cone shape or what most people call a ‘duck bill’.

Year in and year out, especially during the holiday season, I make an attempt to play Santa–listening to all my client’s naughty (and nice) bedroom wish lists. And just like Santa’s sled, our asses break down every now and again. But while Santa may cheer “Ho! Ho! Ho!”, Bespoke Surgical treats anal injuries (and whatever else may bring you into our office) with an open mind and without fear of judgment.

Anal sex can cause prostatitis if not done properly. Anal sex is truly an art, with many intricacies that can complicate the act. The prostate gland is walnut-shaped and fills with fluid to help your sperm during ejaculation.

Regardless of the subject, it never hurts to circle back to the basics periodically, and we’d like to revisit a topic we’ve touched on in other places at various points: enemas.

Kegels are pelvic floor muscle exercises for men and women. The Pelvic floor muscles are like a hammock between the pubic bone and coccyx bone and form a bowl shape of muscles that control urination, defecation, internal organ support, core support, and help with sexual function.

Bespoke Surgical has always been about the butt, but when it comes to anal sex, why should all the responsibility fall into the hands of the bottom? Tops should come to the bedroom with a full understanding of the ins and outs (pun intended) of the proper mechanics and the science behind bottoming.

I was always self-conscious about my butt, being a bottom and all. Was it cute? Was it tight enough? Was it too tight? There are so many things for us bottoms to worry about. And then something else came up that made me worry: color. You hear more and more people talking about wanting a “nice, pink hole”, especially within the gay community. Great. Let me add that to my list: Is my hole pink enough?

Have you ever tried to shave your own ass? And no, not just your butt cheeks. I mean all the way to your hole. No matter what angle or how you attempt to view it (I know I’m not the only one who squats over my iPhone 11 Pro), it’s so damn hard to shave it perfectly, let alone without some element of injury.

The “how to” of sex positions is imperative for any relationship. Mastering different positions not only heightens the experience, but also provides a deeper connection with your partner–both literally and figuratively. At Bespoke Surgical, we think about sex in completely different ways and by bringing science into sex, a new era of understanding will allow improvement for everyone.
